Artists' Books Twilight Class at GSA Library, Quiet Study Space, Tuesday 12th January 5.30-6.30 pm
This week's Twilight Class in the library provides a unique opportunity to view some of the titles in the Library's Artists' Books collection.
Artists' Books are books created by artists, rather than the books written about artists found in our lending stock. Artists’ books can be distinguished from illustrated books, where an artist has simply provided illustrations to accompany another’s text. For artists, the medium of the book allows them to explore concepts such as seriality, sequence, narrative, and the text/image relationship.
Drop in any time between 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm to explore the collection, which is one of the largest in Scotland.
