Library Closed Tuesday 25th of March 2014

The Library and Computer Centre will be closed on Tuesday the 25th of March. This is due to a staff inservice day. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. The Library and Computer Centre will be open as normal from Wednesday the 26th of March.

Changes to Wi-Fi access in GSA Library commencing 24th March 2014

GSA staff and students must now register with GSA-WIFI-REGISTRATION and use GSA1-WIFI for wireless access in the Library (as is practice currently in Reid and Haldane buildings).  Full details can be found here:

External Borrowers and visitors to the Library after 24th March please show your Library/visitors card at the Library Service Desk and a member of staff will create a guest username and password for you.  Internet access will be through GSA-Guest-2 WiFi network.

Easter Vacation Opening Hours

Due to the Easter vacation, the library will only be open Monday to Friday 9 am to 5pm. Term time hours will resume on Monday the 31st of March.

Happening today in the Library... Research Data Management Training looking at the concept of what research data is in the visual arts, the importance of data management for an individual, institution and outside parties, and also considering funder requirements and the need for data management plans.

The session is being run as part of the VADS4R project  (, a collaborative project between GSA, University of the Creative Arts and Falmouth University.
