Thu 24th Feb 5.15pm Computer Centre-Intro to HTML and Dreamweaver

Dreamweaver Introduction (two one hour long sessions spread over two weeks). Week One will look at the fundamentals of web site creation: how web pages are constructed, basic HTML and how to use Dreamweaver to create a web page.


Week Two will take a very basic look at how to format a website, what CSS is and how to use Dreamweaver with CSS to create a web site.


Week two will build on what is covered in week one so it is recommended that you have attended week one if you would like to attend the second workshop.

Mid term holiday Library closed 11th February

The Library and Computer Centre will be closed on Friday 11th February for the mid-term holiday. We will be open as usual 12noon-4pm on Saturday the 12th February.

10th Feb 5.15pm Webtastic! Computer Centre tonight - How to set up your own website

Tonight’s session at 5.15pm in the Computer Centre will be with Andrew, Library IT technician, who will be providing a guide into setting up your own website. This will range from taking that first step of registering your domain name, to sorting out the webspace required and also a look at some easy to set up solutions for website so you don’t have to worry about creating a site from scratch. It’s bound to be a good one so arrive for 5.15pm and grab a seat!

3rd February Adobe Illustrator @ 5.15pm Computer Centre

The final Adobe Illustrator workshop takes place tonight in the iMac training room on the first floor of the Library at 5.15pm.
