Library now open

Further to the last post the security fault has now been resolved and the Library is open as normal.

Unfortunately due to a fault the security system the Library is unable to open. We will open as soon as this is resolved.We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Abobe Illustrator tonight 5.15pm 27th Jan @ Computer Centre open to all GSA students and staff

If you want to know more about Adobe Illustrator, come along to the Computer Centre iMac training room tonight for a 5.15pm start. This week's Illustrator workshop will be on "importing images and masking". As always, if you have your own laptop with Illustrator installed feel free to turn up and join in, otherwise the first 19 people to grab an iMac secure a place.

Inventors of Tradition

Items from the GSA Library's Stoddard Design Collection are currently being exhibited as part of The Inventors of Tradition exhibition. The exhibition looks at some of the pioneers of Scottish textile production, alongside the responses of contemporary designers. Open Tues - Sat 11-5, 22 Jan - 26 Feb 2011 at 21 Stockwell Street, Glasgow.

Learn about Adobe Illustrator Thursday 20th January 5.15pm Computer Centre

The IT training classes being held in the Computer Centre on the first floor of the Library continue this Thursday 20th January when Kerry will start with the first of three sessions on Adobe Illustrator. If you want to attend then bag yourself a seat in the iMac training room for a 5.15pm start. If you have your own laptop with Illustrator on it you are welcome to bring that along and join in too. The first session is on “accurate artwork and masking” the second and third Illustrator sessions will continue on the 27th January and the 3rd of February.
