The Glasgow School of Art Archives and Collections have recently added images from our poster and ephemera collections to our Flickr photostream. The archives hold an impressive collection of posters and ephemera directly related to the School and its activities, a selection of these items have been digitised and can now be viewed online. Items in the ephemera collection date from 1890 onwards and include leaflets, programmes, invitations, menus, and admission tickets; while the posters date from the 1960s onwards. The posters and ephemera provide a unique insight into the School’s history and serve as a record of activities and events such as fashion & degree shows, dances, plays and exhibitions. Please visit http://www.flickr.com/photos/gsalib/collections/ and take a look at the collection.

Our latest display on the top floor of the Main Library is of artists' books purchased from our own GSA students for the Library's Artists' Books Collection. These books were all produced by 3rd year Illustration students, and are adapted from cult and classic texts by authors such as Edgar Allan Poe, Raymond Carver and J. G. Ballard.
